Prophet Walter Magaya will be in Cape Town – 3rd time in seven months – for a two day partner service which will include a guest house session.
The charismatic and controversial preacher will be in Cape Town from the 17th to the 18th of June and is scheduled to preach at the Velodrome stadium in Belville.
The last time Magaya preached in Belville he filled up the giant venue as thousands thronged to receive deliverance.
Magaya has been quoted saying, “God sent me from Zimbabwe to deliver people here in Cape Town and let those given the grace to hear the voice receive their deliverance right now. Let those taken to higher level have the power to maintain the level God has taken them to.’’
Cape Town has proved to be a fertile ground for the preacher as witnessed by his frequent visits and the establishment of the new church.
The prominent prophet recently made history by filling up Newlands Cricket stadium, forcing the South African police to intervene to calm the restless crowd in the coastal city.
The preacher draws thousands to his Prophetic Healing and Deliverance (PHD) Ministries church in Zimbabwe and last year he also caused a near stampede upon arrival at Johannesburg’s OR Tambo International Airport for a crusade.
Prophet Walter Magaya faces rape charges in Zimbabwe with state prosecutors refusing to drop the case despite his accuser withdrawing charges.
